Human Creative was announced as a finalist in IgniteWV, a West Virginia based pitch-competition providing budding entrepreneurs with the education, skills, contacts, and motivation necessary to create a viable start-up, or grow an existing company in West Virginia.
The final round of pitches will occur during Bridging Innovation Week held in Morgantown, WV from April 27 – May 1, 2026. Pitches will occur on April 29th, followed by an awards banquet in the evening. The company will be pitching for $50,000.
Human Creative is a startup dedicated to certifying original human content in the age of AI through live-monitoring certification systems. Their current system for written works, Certified Human Content(TM), has a launch date of March 16, 2026. Certified Human Content(TM) is a word processor that monitors every keystroke, live tracks written content for generative-AI, audits pasted content for AI in real time, blocks generative AI sources, monitors tabs for generative AI, provides a phone-lock feature to prevent cheating, and offers an optional human auditor feature, where an expert human auditor can review the entire crafting process for signs of generative-AI. Certified works receive a shareable certificate, QR code, and link, so that verifiers can have assurance what they are reading was not AI generated.
